Justice is heading social and special projects for Peter's Place RVA as the Social Engagement Chair. As a queer Black person, he is committed to elevating and eternalizing queer stories. His experience with recovery is centered around mental health and communal accountability. Justice sees his purpose as providing space and forging community for the most marginalized.
Like so many queer folx, he was raised in a conservative and fundamentally religious home and small town. Access to queer community, spaces, and resources always felt out of his reach. Justice sees potential in social media to be a great equalizer. It is a space wherein marginalized folx can create their own realities, and location does not impede connection.
Justice is a writer, editor, and organizer. In addition to his role with Peter's Place RVA, he serves as an editor at Channel 12 here in Richmond.
